Terrabillion is live, and every plugging package is in one queue

A glowing emerald queue of ascending forms over dark topographic terrain.

A year ago we started with a simple frustration: orphan-well plugging work was scattered across hundreds of county websites, state portals, and PDF packets that expired before anyone found them. Contractors missed work they were perfect for; states got thin bidder pools. Today we are opening Terrabillion to everyone: every plugging package we can find, in one searchable queue.

What is in the queue

At launch, the queue holds several thousand packages and individual well opportunities across the major producing states, each with structured scope, location, dates, and source documents. New packages land daily as our ingestion pipeline chews through county postings and state releases.

Every listing carries the same essentials: what is being asked, where it is, when it is due, and who to contact — with the original documents attached so you never have to trust our summary over the source.

How matching works

Tell us your service areas, equipment, and bonding range once. Every new package scores against your profile overnight, and your queue sorts by fit. The score is explainable — open any package to see exactly which factors matched and which did not.

We built matching this way because black-box scores rot trust. If the queue thinks a package fits you, it should be able to say why in one screen.

What it costs

Browsing the queue is free, including search, package details, and source documents. Alert emails and fit-score matching are part of paid plans starting today, with a trial that needs no credit card. Public agencies posting packages always post free — demand-side liquidity is the whole point, and we will never tax it.

Where we go from here

The roadmap for the next two quarters is public and short: contractor profiles with verified history, instant alerts instead of daily batches, and program-level views so states can see their own pipelines the way bidders do. Two of those three are already in testing.

If you plug wells, post packages, or study any of this — come look at the queue. And when something is wrong with a listing, tell us. Every correction makes the next thousand listings better.
